How to Find Pageant Sponsors

Finding sponsors for the Miss Teen/Miss Utah International Pageant shouldn't be too hard, if you have the right steps. Always analyze what your potential sponsor needs. For example: What can you do to for their business in return for sponsorship? This is one area where many contestants have trouble when looking for sponsors. To fix this problem - let's address how you can obtain sponsors through designing services you can offer as a Miss Teen/Miss Utah International Regional Titleholder.
1. Program Book- Make sure to tell your potential sponsor their name will be featured under your bio in the program book. These books will be available both nights of the competition.
2. Modeling - Many companies would be happy to sponsor you in exchange for modeling services, especially dress shops, boutiques and gyms. Other businesses would probably also be happy to have modeling services in exchange for sponsorship. Make sure to design an agreement for the sponsorship/ modeling agreement that is timely, realistic and fair.

2. Social Media- Do you have a large following on Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube or Instagram? Offering to promote your sponsors through social media is a great idea. Make sure to agree on the terms of how many posts and what the posts will contain. For example I will post once a month on Instagram for a year.
3.Marketing Materials- You can offer to hand out flyers, free samples, business cards and much more. Ask the sponsor, the five W's:
-WHO should I give the marketing materials to?
-WHAT materials would you like me to pass out?
-WHEN would you like me to give marketing materials to potential clients?
-WHERE would you prefer me to pass out marketing materials?
-WHY are we advertising in this area? WHY do you use this type of marketing material? The more you know about your sponsor's company and target market, the better you can help them.
4.Public Speaking - Does your sponsor have an upcoming event? If so, you can attend to endorse their product(s). Promotion is a huge selling point. Another service you can provide is public speaking at the business to customers. Let customers know as a Miss Teen Utah International Regional or State Title holder what products you enjoy and would recommend.
