UTAH INTERNATIONAL PAGEANT

Do I need to have previous pageant experience?

• ​No experience is needed. We welcome all eligible Utah residing teens and women (ages 13-18 and 19-30 by July 1, 2017) to participate in the state pageant.

Is this a beauty pageant?

• ​While good looks are always nice, the Miss Teen & Miss Utah International Pageant focuses on bettering local communities through service, public speaking events and setting higher standards of education through scholarship opportunities.

Do I have to wear a swimsuit?

• The Miss Teen & Miss Utah International Pageant promotes healthy lifestyles through a Fitness Wear competition. Each contestant will recieve the official fitness wear outfit and will be judged on being physically fit, energetic and healthy. (No midriff will be shown)

Is there a talent competition?

• ​Don't worry about signing up for last minute voice lessons or taking up baton twirling because the Miss Teen & Miss Utah International Pageant does not require a talent competition. The Miss Teen & Miss Utah International program works on developing platforms to better the local community.

What's a platform?

• ​A platform is developed by each contestant to spread awareness regarding a certain cause or organization. Each contestant's platform will be represented at the state pageant.

How do I fund my pageant experience?

• Finding sponsors can assist each contestant in paying for costs associated with participating in the pageant. After signing and turning in paperwork, contestants are given documents to help with the contestant's sponsor(s) search.
